Worship by Spirit and Truth - Spirit – Promise of God's Holy Spirit

Worshipping God by [singular] Spirit and [singular] Truth:

Jesus said that the worship of God, the Father by the Samaritans “on this mountain” or Jews “in Jerusalem” was no longer acceptable.  It has NOW been replaced “when the genuine worshippers will actually proskuneo worship the Father by the means of [singular] Spirit and [singular] Truth, for the Father is actually, presently/ongoing seeking such people to routinely worship Him.  God is Spirit and those who routinely worship Him dei absolutely-MUST actually, presently/ongoingly worship in/by/with [singular] Spirit and/coupled [singular] Truth” (a).  Now let’s break that down!  <Notes> a) John 4:21-24.

Many worship leaders and musicians may understand proskuneo to mean “towards + kiss = to kiss towards,” but traditionally it means “to kiss the ground when prostrating before a superior” (a) or fall (b) or “bow or kneel before another” (c), or as the Egyptians did by “throwing a kiss toward the deity with outstretched hand.”  Now when have you actually seen any of this practiced in a church?  Yes, they may or may not gnosis informationally-know these verses about worship, but how many genuinely, experientially, relationally epiginosko know those verses, because it’s sure not apparent by their actions!  Yet, I have seen pastors like Kathryn Kulman and Heidi Baker fall to their knees on stage!  I’ve seen some worship leaders and musicians stop playing and fall to their knees in this YouTube playlist. <Notes> a) Revelation 5:14, 11:16; Matthew 18:26; 1 Corinthians 14:25, b) Matthew 2:11; Acts 10:25; Revelation 4:10, 7:11, 19:10, 22:8, c) Matthew 4:9; Mark 15:19.

Furthermore, in the Gospel of John, the Greek word pneuma is always used of the promise of God’s Holy Spirit, just as the context of John 4:24 makes abundantly obvious.  Jesus isn’t talking about human [plural] “spirits” or even your person [singular] “spirit” as too many translations mislead you to believe.  I only found 13 bibles of 71 occurrences of “spirit” that capitalized “Spirit” (a).  This is pitiful!  For more misleading, see Bible Info. <Notes> a) BRG, CSB, CEV, EXB note, GNV, GNT, TLB, MSG, NABRE, NCB, NIV, TPT, RGT.

The Truth is Jesus Christ and His gospel logos message about Himself

The Truth is Jesus Christ and His gospel Logos Message about Himself:

Also, to the Apostle John, The aletheia Truth as “absolute reality” about the Father is actually the Person of Jesus Christ, God’s Son who is the One who actually sets men free (a), especially because Jesus said He is The Truth (b), WHO is also the logos Word/Message of God (c), even if Jesus & others preached this gospel logos message about Himself (d), that is actually The Truth that sets disciples apart from the world, certainly not our gnosis info-knowledge of bible verses even if they are about the gospel logos message<Notes> a) John 8:32, 36, b) John 14:6, c) John 1:1, 14, d) Acts 8:25, 15:7; Ephesians 1:13; Colossians 1:5; 1 Thessalonians 1:5.

The bible students of Christ’s day were the teachers of scripture with their own followers/disciples (a) but they did NOT have God’s logos message living in them (b)!  Jesus is The Truth that John the Baptist testified about (c), as does the Holy Spirit (d).  “The Truth” that Jesus taught from God was all about Himself (e), and this certainly comes from His own Voice that we must listen to (f).  Of course Christ’s ‘spirit’ is in fact indwelling as The Spirit of The Truth who alone guides us into ALL [singular] truth (g) so that we have absolutely no need in fact for any other teacher (h). <Notes> a) John 17:17, b) John 5:38-40, c) John 5:33, d) John 15:26, e) John 8:40, 45-46, f) John 18:37, g) John 14:17, 16:13; cf. 2 Corinthians 3:18, h) 1 John 2:20, 27.

The first 5 books of the bible, the old covenant or Torah Law of conditional-favor, were “given thru-the-realizing-channel-of Moses” to every Jew, but they absolutely are NOT “The Truth,” because this only “came into being” along with “THE Unconditionally-Loving-Favor-of-Grace thru-the-realizing-channel-of Jesus Christ” (a).  Yet, you will hear preachers still hold up the bible and say, “This is The Truth that will set you free!”  Did they even read what that book says?  <Notes> a) John 1:17.

Anointed Worship Music - Spirit-Promise of our Music Meet-Ups fellowship

Worship by the Promised Spirit is the priority of Spirit Music Meet-Ups:

We hear a lot of churches talk about worship, but in many cases the practice of it takes a backseat to almost everything else.  I’ve played drums in at least 15 churches for 40 years, big and small, and in almost every service, worship was definitely not the highest priority, and prayer was even below that!  In some cases the announcements, or “church business” meetings, or collection of money took longer.  But for sure, the focus is almost always on the sermon!  However, you won’t see that in King David’s days, the earliest Church records, or historical and current accounts of revivals.  But, you will see an obsession with “homilies” or “sermons” by the early Catholic Church that the current Protestant Church still has not reformed!

However, once the Spirit of God actually shows up, then the priorities of the churches always flip to routinely proskuneo worshipping and routinely proseuchomai conversationally-praying!  This is the Hebrew idea of proserchomai drawing near or eggizo very close-beside to God to akouo listen/hear-to-understand/know Him in order that God will eggizo draw near very close-beside us (a).  Notice that proseuchomai and proserchomai sound almost the same, because proseuchomai conversationally-praying and proserchomai drawing near are actually the same idea of worshipful approach to God!  Notice also the pros- prefix of both, indicating a “prostrate” type of worshipping?  All of this is certainly while humbled/lowered before the King of kings!  It turns out that conversational-prayer and worship are actually the highest of priorities, even devotions, for churches to do, even if few do it! <Notes> a) James 4:8; Isaiah 48:16; Ecclesiastes 5:1; 1 Samuel 14:36.

The Lord gave me a dream about Worship Saving America by God’s promised Spirit:

The Lord really drove this home to me.  I will never forget this long dream God gave me.  A bunch of us reporters were asking “The Preacher” who came to save America how He was going to do it.  After all, we have had millions of bibles, churches, preachers, sermons, and programs for a very long time, and America is actually much worse than 20 years ago!  We asked, “What are You going to say that hasn’t been said millions of times?  What are You going to do that hasn’t already been tried millions of times?”  He didn’t answer, but just pointed to this black woman from Africa who looked like a queen with such fine, brightly-colored orange and brown dress and a fine jade necklace.  She was playing an instrument from every limb while singing the most beautiful adoration to God that you could imagine hearing.  We stood in absolute awe – the actually meaning of the idiom “fear and trembling” (a) – for quite a while, but then we asked the same questions.  Again, He didn’t answer but pointed us to her!  This time we were proserchomai drawn in closer to her, but after a while we pulled away and asked Him the same questions.  Again, He just pointed to her!  This time we were eggizo drawn in very close to her, impossible to pull away, and before long we were all joining in praising God at the top of our lungs!  Then we knew His answer! She was the Holy Spirit! <Notes> a) Mark 5:33; 2 Corinthians 7:15; Ephesians 6:5; Philippians 2:12.

Promised-Spirit worship was how ‘The Preacher’ would save America, even our Spirit Music Meet-Ups – by drawing us into the very presence of God through worship led by the Holy Spirit!  When I woke up from this dream, I was really set straight on the priority of worship, because I’ve never fully surrendered control to it, even though I’ve had many incredible experiences in worship.  My scholarly background in exegetical theology – see Bible Info – BT3 – has always led me to be more focused on ‘the sermon’ to insure it was accurate, because I’ve found that many pastors haven’t spent much time validating their own sermons.  So the Lord is setting my priorities straight and this BLOG is a result.

Watch and listen closely – you will soon see the Lord shifting the priorities of the Church to increasing conversational-prayer, even intercession, and intimate worship by-the-means-of The Holy Spirit.  Watch and listen!  Why?  Because the Holy Spirit is tearing down old structures of our kingdoms, even our church-ianity kingdoms, to bring about His Kingdom to prepare the way for the Lord’s return.  Watch and listen!
