Note: On your phone, PDF documents may only open if you choose the “Save, Replace, or Keep Both” option and then it will be downloaded and notify you of this on the top of your screen. Open it there or in your Downloads folder and it will give you the option to Open with Adobe Acrobat, Drive, or some other PDF app you have installed on your phone. If you watch the associated video, it will open in another tab/window so that you can easily bounce back & forth between the PDF doc and the video. If your screen is big enough you can even arrange the windows next to each other!
Rudimental Chart Collections containing Single Strokes Drum Rudiments:
Note: Singles R or L can also be included with Double-Strokes R r L l in a more “expanded/looser” or “opened-texture” manner like R L L Back-Side Triplet or R L R R Paradiddle, but then these expanded Doubles would take precedence over the Singles due their deeper complexity, causing the rudiment to be found on the Diddles page, but if the Doubles are kept “compressed/contracted as in a R r L l R 5-Stroke Roll, then the rudiment will be found on the Doubles page. Also, if the Singles are “compressed/contracted” into a more “closed-texture” as grace-note strokes of unspecified Note/Time-value as a Setup to the Principle-Stroke like the 3-Stroke Ruff rlR, 4-Stroke Ruff lrlR or even the variation rllR, then those would be found on the Drags & Ruffs page, whereas the Flams lR or rL would be found on the Flams page. The level of complexity and uniqueness of sound has caused others in history to classify them differently, but you really should view them as all related on a spectrum of open-to-closed texture.
